{"id":4318,"date":"2022-11-14T19:27:18","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T01:27:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.employco.com\/blog\/?p=4318"},"modified":"2022-11-14T19:44:53","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T01:44:53","slug":"hr-newsletter-new-eeoc-know-your-rights-poster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.employco.com\/blog\/2022\/11\/14\/hr-newsletter-new-eeoc-know-your-rights-poster\/","title":{"rendered":"HR Newsletter: New EEOC \u201cKnow Your Rights\u201d Poster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.employco.com\/images\/newsletter\/hr\/Blog\/November2022_EEOC-Poster.jpg\" alt=\"HR Newsletter: New EEOC \u201cKnow Your Rights\u201d Poster\" width=\"1200\" height=\"545\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 25, 2022, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/USEEOC\/bulletins\/3344c18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fact sheet containing FAQs about its new poster<\/a> titled \u201cKnow Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal.\u201d The EEOC initially released a version of the new poster on Oct. 19, 2022, and then reissued a revised version on Oct. 20, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Among other things, the FAQs about the new \u201cKnow Your Rights\u201d poster clarify that if an employer downloaded or printed it on Oct. 19, the employer should ensure that it uses the newer version, which is instead marked as \u201cRevised 10\/20\/2022.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The FAQs also confirm that there is no specific deadline for employers to replace the old \u201cEEO is Law\u201d poster.
